Rachel Corrie's Mother to Deliver Keynote Address at Alex Odeh Memorial Banquet

Alex Odeh and Rachel Corrie share an unfortunate thing in common: both political activists suffered tragic, violent deaths. Odeh, a Palestinian-American activist, died in 1985 when a rigged bomb exploded as he opened the door to his work office in Santa Ana. Nearly 20 years later an Israeli army Caterpillar bulldozer crushed Palestinian solidarity activist Rachel Corrie to death in the Gaza Strip. Their shared legacy and deaths will intertwine this Sunday when Cindy Corrie, Rachel's mother, delivers the keynote address during the annual Alex Odeh memorial banquet in Anaheim.
