Paul Anderson Identified as Armed Man Shot Dead by Anaheim Police in Orange

Anaheim police shot and killed 31-year-old Paul Anthony Anderson early Saturday morning around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Glassell Street in Orange. In typical APD Keystone Kops style, Anderson wasn't even the focus of their initial investigation. Police initially wanted Mayra Frausto, who had an arrest warrant. They followed her as she got picked up from East Anaheim by another woman in a Toyota Prius along with Anderson before making a traffic stop at the intersection. That's when Anderson got out and police opened fire.
