OCDA: Bac Nguyen Told Paramedics Garden Grove Police Shot Him for "Being an Asshole"

Garden Grove resident Bac Nguyen got into an argument with his dad over a dirty fish tank on the morning of January 5 last year. But instead of going to clean it out, Nguyen retrieved a large knife and held it up to his throat. Concerned that his 29-year-old son might try to commit suicide, as he had attempted to do twice in the past month, Nguyen's dad called the police.
