Irvine Man Arrested for Making Bomb Threats Against County Jail Facilities

Sheriff deputies arrested Pejman Zanjani, 39, outside of his Irvine home Monday morning after identifying him as the man behind recent bomb scares. On July 18, authorities note that he called the dispatch center of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) around 11:25 p.m. and threatened county jail facilities over the course of an 11-minute conversation.
